Since inception back in 2018, Rudram Theatre Academy (RTA) strived to spread Drama Education right to the grassroot level - Schools. Treating Drama as a Necessity more than Leisure, Team RTA approached schools - partnering their Co - Scholastic wings and has dedicated the last few years in spreading Drama Literacy across the country.

2018 witnessed a huge lot of articles, press notes and discussions on the rising need for Personality Development Lectures forged in the Academics from School Level for Students. Majority of researches led to the result of increased focus on Drama Literacy which boosts overall personality of the student and evolution of kids as Human Beings first, Artists second.
Launch of NEP 2020
July 29, 2020
The Union Cabinet paved way for transformative reform in the school and higher education system by launching the New Educational Policy (NEP) 2020.
Then Minister of Education (MoE), Shri. Ramesh Pokhriyal expressed his dream of India transforming into a "Global Knowledge Superpower". Making education system for schools and colleges more flexible, holistic and multi discliplinary, NEP 2020 is the first educational policy of the 21st Century replacing 34 year old educational system in India.
Implementation of NEP 2020
January 28, 2023
As of January 2023, Uttarakhand was the First State in India to implement NEP 2020 at Pre-Primary Level, while Karnataka became the first state to issue an order with regard to implementing NEP in early August 2021, followed by Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Assam and Goa which will initiate the implementation process in 2023.

Rudram joins hands with SEAS Dehradun

Rudram's First National level Drama Education ventured in the wake of COVID Lockdown challenges, joining hands with Ms. Reena Tyagi, a visionary - Founder & Chairperson of SEAS Global Institute, Rudram launched India's First Online Based Drama-in-Education syllabus.

Proving yet again that we are believers in the saying, " The Show Must Go On ", Rudram and SEAS Dehradun was obliged to have gained the support and recognition from the then Hon. Chief Minister of Uttarakhand - Shri. Trivendra Singh Rawat.
RTA merges with one of Mumbai's leading schools - Cosmopolitan Education Society

Being the Home Ground Turf for Team RTA, Mumbai, partnering up with Cosmopolitan Education Society, an esteemed institution from Versova, it was the ' Dream Team ' visual. Under the able guidance of the school's Hon. Secretary - Shri. Ajit Balan, RTA iniated Drama-in-Education in association with their Performing Arts Wing.
Mount Litera Zee School Udaipur in Association with Rudram Theatre Academy brings Drama to the City of Lakes!

MLZS Udaipur, under the guidance of Hon. Director - Shri. Arun Mandot, joined hands with RTA, driven by common goal of providing Quality Drama Education to Students. Udaipur Summer Camp, being the First Ever Drama-based Residential Camp in the city, turned out to be a huge success, involving around 90 students throughout the state of Rajasthan.
Apart from learning Pottery, Sports, Jungle Hiking and Cooking, Adventure Sports, Scripting and Directing All of the students in 5 different ' Nukkad Natak - Street Plays ' in and around the city of Udaipur and closing the mega event with a Short Scripted Comedy Play ' Adhuri Kahaani '.

The month of September 2023 has been etched in every heart at Rudram as one of the most beautiful experiences in one of the most beautiful states of our country, Punjab. An educational journey which travelled from Ludhiana to Chandigarh, from Barnala to Karar Wala, with one goal - Drama Literacy to every child.

Inside RTA's Mind
SSP
School Subject Program
We visit the school for an entire term and conduct the program during School Hours as a part of the School Curriculum.
Our Academic Year Long Program includes several displays of presentations, quarterly visits from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and most importantly, a short-scripted Play Production at the end of the Academic Year / at the Annual Function of the School.

Theatre Workshop
We conduct this program directly in school's premises after school hours for not only the students from that particular school but also the ones from the neighborhood.

The Workshops are conducted once or twice a week accommodating minimum 25 - 30 students in a batch.
